After an extremely competitive recruitment round, we are delighted to announce the appointment of Anna Kerr as the new OMF Development Director.
Anna Kerr is a professional fundraiser with 13 years experience and specialisms in corporate partnerships, marketing and event management. She joins us from Nottingham Playhouse, where she led the charity’s fundraising and development; securing income from corporate sponsors, trusts and foundations, major donors and fundraising campaigns.
Anna brings with her a wealth of experience across the charitable and arts sector – including six years generating income from corporate partners for a national disability charity. Anna also has a first-class degree in Event Management with Arts & Entertainment; consequently she has enjoyed some time working in music festival management.
Alongside her fundraising role, Anna is passionate about music and a keen singer and pianist. For many years she has performed original music in bands, with success writing albums and working with a music publisher. More recently she performs with a cover band and writes/performs soundscapes to accompany poetry.
Anna's flair for strategic development means she is very excited to get involved as Development Director at Olympias Music Foundation. She is particularly passionate about making a big impact in championing diversity in music; ensuring that music is accessible for everyone to learn and participate, regardless of their background or circumstances.
Anna begins her new role with the OMF in January 2023 - we look forward to welcoming her into the OMF family, and to introducing her to the wider OMF community!
